My husband’s family is from Wisconsin, and he was born a Green Bay Packers fan. He was born into it, and I married into it. There is no denying his family’s love of the green and gold. Their fanhood is over-the-top, and I’m not the only one who thinks so. Philip’s mom was actually featured in The Oklahoman’s sport section last week. Link to the article here.
That article came out in the Saturday morning paper, and kicked off our epic Super Bowl weekend. Lucky for us the watch party on Sunday night turned into a victory celebration!
We drank only Wisconsin beer and feasted on Wisconsin brats cooked in beer, butter and onions.

Although we spent most of our time eating watching the game, the party goers also had a lot of fun playing in a Green Bay photo booth. It had an awesome prop table with cheese heads and vintage Packers gear.

It was a great game! We felt fortunate to watch it with about 40 other Packers fans. What a fun night….especially when the game clock ticked down to the final seconds, and the champagne corks began to pop.
Thank you, Packers, for making our party such a fun one!! Let’s do it again next year.
